Emory | Nashville Baby Photographer

It was so fun to play with this sweet baby in Nashville and her parents one afternoon.  Emory is so cute and was at the perfect stage to grab some fun sitting up/crawling pictures before she starts running around.  Babies go through the stages so quickly, I am so glad we grabbed these sweet memories for her family.

Her little curls are so precious.

You can tell how much this girl is loved and cherished!

Rachel and Tim | Nashville Wedding Photographer

This winter wedding was such an honor to be a part of.  Tim and Rachel have been in our ministry at Belmont and my husband married them! It turned out to be a great day and not too cold. It was amazing how smooth everything went that day. And what a fun party they threw!  Enjoy these moments of the celebration.

I always like to work with a second shooter.  I send them to hang with the groom as he is getting ready.  These next few are from my second shooter Abi Lewis.

This was right before Rachel saw Tim for the first time on the wedding day.

My second shooter Abi Lewis took this next one.  I loved her position and this sweet capture as Tim picked up Rachel and twirled her around.

I love getting to capture the look of the father of the bride when he sees his daughter all dressed up.

The tones and colors of Marathon Village are beautiful.  It really makes for some fun pictures with all the options there.

A Village of Flowers were the florist.  They made this amazing piece for the front of the church. Love it!

I had already scouted out a Christmas Tree farm that was set up right next to the church.  I told them we would pop across the street right after the ceremony ended as people were leaving.  I just loved the lights.

Jana and Craig | Nashville Family Photographer

It was so fun to walk around downtown Nashville with this family.  They are some of our closest friends and our kids have grown up together.  I can’t put into words how much I love these people.  So glad we got to spend the afternoon together.

Eleanor and Matt | Nashville Family Photographer

These sweet friends have lived in our neighborhood for years and go to the same schools so we have see them every day.  We are so thankful God put us in the same area and our kids have grown up together! The kids did so great at the session and their parents have lots to choose from:)

MG was a newborn when my business was taking off so I got to practice some when she was a baby.  Some of her baby pictures are still some of my favorites.  She is just too cute, it is hard to take a bad picture of this precious girl.

This is Julia’s real smile.  I pulled it out of her by talking about boys:)  (Just for a minute to get her to laugh.)

sweetness…..

When I was editing this next one I could not get over the sweetness of these siblings.  I also thought about what an honor it is to capture precious memories and moments that these 4 kids will look back on as adults.  This is such a sweet stage.

I love secrets…

It did not take much prompting to get these faces when I told them their parents were kissing.

MG brought along her lovie and I think this picture is the sweetest. I do not use a bunch of props but I do like to include things that are meaningful to the clients.

Kate + Eric At Home Session | Nashville Family Photographer

2014 was a big year for Kate and Eric.  They bought a house and wanted to document and celebrate this special time with a “at home” session. Their front yard is  almost a park so we crossed the street and grabbed some at the park since it is a special part of their lives.  I love to include places that are special to the family when we pick session locations.  We are so thankful God brought them to town last year.  They both have served in our RUF ministry and are dear friends.

Do you see the heart behind them on the wall made by the sunlight?  Such a fun surprise when I saw it on my computer after the session!

I love Kate’s beautiful lashes.

They are the cutest!
