I can’t believe this little man is 4 and will be 5 in a few months.  Seems like just yesterday I was documenting his parents bringing him home as a tiny adorable bundle.  He is one of my favorites to take pictures of because I love to see his personality change and bloom every year.  We had a lot to talk about this year and I was glad his parents let us hang out out front of their house while they finished getting ready.  I love capturing this light I see in his sparking eyes.

Megan and Stacey are some of our dearest friends and I love this family so much.  So happy we squeezed this season in on the last “warm” Sunday for a while.

Recently I spent the afternoon with my dear friend Bethany and her sweet family.  You might recognize her daughter from the picture above when she was 2!  I love getting to see return clients and watching their kids grow.  I know it is hard sometimes to get the clothes ready and coordinate everyone’s schedule, but I believe portraits are so important to document the different stages in a family’s life together.  If you have not had portraits taken lately, contact me and let’s set up a time!

It is that time of the year again…family pictures time.  I loved getting our family pictures taken last year for our Christmas card and so believe in existing in pictures and treasure them so much.  It has reminded me this year how important it is to document your family as it grows.  I am honored that these guys were some of my very first customers years ago when I was just starting my business.  It is a joy to walk along side them as we watch our kids grow and change while we as parents grow and change along with them.

Leslie and Austin are some of our dearest friends.  I loved hanging out capturing their personality and beauty one late afternoon.  Leslie told me she wanted to capture the kids at this stage and have some posed but also just some moments of them being candid.  Here are some of the fun ones:)

This next one is a pretty normal scene for any parents juggling raising kids and also trying to communicate. I love that they were still smiling at each other.

Sweet Cora Gray just turned one a few weeks ago and I met up with her and her wonderful parents downtown Nashville early one morning to capture this sweet stage.  I love how Cora’s big beautiful blue eyes sparkle. I have known her momma Julie for many years and it has been a joy to see her family form and grow.
