So I recently had the joy of photographing my cousin, Kami’s sweet little wedding in my hometown of Columbia, TN. I grew up with Kami and her 2 sisters in and out of my house on a regular basis for sleepovers, playdates, ect. Since I do not have any sisters, I think of Kami and her sisters as my sisters, too. It was a beautiful day for a wedding and fun to be with my family.

I met this great family because they won a photo session from me at an auction this spring. We finally were able to meet and had a fun time in Franklin. We also got a few head shots for the parents.

Mother’s Day is just around the corner and these pictures are a gift for a special mother/grandmother. My friend Bethany called me a few weeks ago and said her sister would be in town with her twins and she wanted to get a picture of her kids and her sister’s kids for her mom for Mother’s Day. We ran around Westhaven subdivision where her mother lives and had a fun afternoon.

It is so wonderful to have clients return to me, the year after I shot their pictures, to create more memories. It is an honor to watch these sweet little twins grow up. I wish you could see how sweet they are to each other. Lizz told me she had these adorable trikes the grandparents had given them and she wanted to be sure to capture the fun and joy they have riding them before they outgrow them. I love including something so specific to their age that they love in the photo shoot. Don’t you love their little outfits right down to those cute tiny TOMS?
This is my friend Jenny and her sweet little boys.
I have known Jenny for years and for those who have been to RUF Summer Conference many years ago might remember her as “Nurse Jenny”. She is a dear friend I do not get to see much anymore because she lives in Atlanta and I do not. I do travel to Atlanta several times a year and we tried a few times over the past year to connect when I was in town. This time I had a business meeting there 2 weeks after she gave birth to her newest bundle of joy. It was perfect timing to grab some newborn shots and run around with Samuel. We missed Dad, but we will have to get him next time. Hope you enjoy these.
